Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm
The Primary Schools Library Service caters for Nursery Schools
and Nursery Units, Primary Schools, Preparatory Departments
of Voluntary Schools, and the Early Years Learning Service.
Stock Provision
There is an exhibition collection of books to help with the
stocking of schools’ central libraries. Teachers visit
by appointment to select their school‘s annual allocation
of new books or may simply view the collection to assess material
for themselves.
Booklists, review periodicals and bibliographies are available
to facilitate selection.
Display collections can be provided to support in-service
training and book promotional activities organized by Board
Officers.

The Post- Primary Schools Library Service caters for Post-
Primary schools, grammar schools and special schools.
Stock Provision
A library budget is allocated annually and schools can submit
orders for specific titles or visit the exhibition collection,
by appointment, to select library stock.. Visitors are welcome
to view this exhibition collection to assess material for
themselves.
Booklists, review periodicals and bibliographies are available
to facilitate selection.
Display collections are available to support Board Officers
in INSET and book promotional activities.
