: Applicants must hold a professional youth work qualification as defined by the JNC Report for Youth and Community Workers. Applicants must also show evidence of having delivered and developed areas of the youth work curriculum or equivalent.
Hours: 36 per week (to be worked over 10 sessions including Saturday and Sunday if required. A session comprises a morning, afternoon or evening. Not more than 2 sessions should be worked in any 1 day. Not more than 8 sessions per fortnight will be evening sessions).
These are temporary posts available until 31 March 2013 (with the possibility of an
extension subject to funding).
Posts involving work in educational institutions are subject to the provisions of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups (NI) Order 2007. The successful applicant will require an enhanced disclosure check which at present costs £30. Further details regarding the payment of this check will be issued with the contract of employment.
